We would like to thank you for the interest you showed in the LRCW 4 conference reflected in the amount and the variability of your contributions covering a broad range of topics in the Eastern and Western Mediterranean. Hereby you will find the preliminary programme of the conference and some practical information. Moreover, we kindly ask you to send the attached form to the email address lrcw4@hist.auth.gr indicating the days you will take part in the conference.
We are looking forward to seeing you all in Thessaloniki.
Posters
Poster dimensions should not exceed 100 (tall) x 70 cm (wide). Unaccompanied posters won’t be accepted. The poster session will take place on Friday the 8/4/2011 at 12.15 at Loutra Paradeisos (Bey Hamam). The authors are kindly requested to collect the mounting material at the time of registration or on the morning of the 8th of April at the entrance of Loutra Paradeisos (Bey Hamam) where the poster session will take place.Languages
Official languages of the conference are Greek and English. The Organizing Committee will accept communications in French, Italian and Spanish. Non-English speakers are invited to submit to the Secretariat of the conference an extended English abstract that will be distributed to the audience on the day of the presentation. The deadline for the submission of the extended abstract is the 28th of February 2011.Publication
Papers and posters will be published in the volume of the LRCW4 conference (BAR International Series). The deadline for the submission of manuscripts is the 30th of June 2011. The manuscripts will be reviewed by referees.Registration and fees
The new deadline for registration is the 28th February 2011. Payment of conference registration fees should be made by bank transfer (currency: Euro). Please ensure that you cover any charge associated to the bank transfer. Participants are kindly requested to send an electronic copy of the bank transfer form to the conference address: lrcw4-congress@hist.auth.gr. You are kindly requested to specify your name, family name and the type of fees you have chosen.Standard

The last day of the conference there will be a visit to the archaeological site of Dion. There will be a guided tour of the site and the participants will have the opportunity to see Early Byzantine pottery from the ongoing excavations in the museum of the site.Travel and accomodation
